That was almost surreal, no it was completely surreal. Obi’s show was a screaming success, I couldn’t be more pleased that my fair city showed him so much love. He sold his first piece before it even made it to the wall, eveything beyond there is a blur, and then at like 9am the next day he was gone, like a wild storm. Luckily we at Bedlam managed to buy some stuff, otherwise the walls would be bare until next ArtWalk, In all Bedlam managed to snag 7 pieces. Here’s some pics from the all to brief show below. Obi was immediately asked to return, he said 8, we said 6 months. So hopefully we will have him back up in the spring-ish.

there were three of the pink/blue pieces seen here, the third was sold before it got to the nail. A fourth however hangs over the pickup window as a gift from the artist. :)

everything here sold, the piece at the far left was nabbed by Charlie so we all get to enjoy it untill he takes it home.

we were hanging new pieces on the wall as stuff sold, but this is another piece that sold before it found a nail.
