The first thing that strikes me about the auction catalogs for Michael Jackson’s belongings is that he has such great taste.  I don’t know what I expected, but cerrtainly wasn’t this, I mean he’s got some pretty great stuff. Course he does have some of the crazy stuff you’d expect too.

This is a really great idea. The “leaves” store enerrgy during the day, and emit light at night, and they look so damn good doing it.

the Invisible Streetlight

The as yet unfinished, would have been so beautiful… OMA’s TVCC building is burning away as I type this…( in the photo to the left it is the shorter of the two buildings, but due to it’s proximity the larger one will no doubt be damaged as well) (ps for Seattle, this was designed by the guy that did our library)
UPDATE- looks this morning as tho the building may have actually survived the fire, with some scrubbing up it may still open, as scheduled, in May.
